Bringing Your New Family Member Home Safely
At Hilltop Jack Russell Puppies, we understand that bringing home your new puppy is an exciting milestone. We’re committed to making the journey as safe, stress-free, and smooth as possible—whether you’re picking up locally or live across the country.
Local Pickup (Preferred & Encouraged)
We warmly welcome you to visit our hilltop farm to meet your puppy in person and take them home yourself.
What to Expect:
Schedule a pickup appointment once your puppy is ready (typically 8–10 weeks of age)
Meet our breeding family, see where your puppy was raised, and ask any final questions
Receive your puppy’s health records, starter kit, and transition instructions
Location: We’ll provide exact address upon scheduling.
Ground Transport / Meet-Up Options
For families within driving distance, we’re happy to arrange a safe, stress-free meet-up.
We can travel to a mutually convenient halfway location (typically within 4–6 hours of our farm)
Your puppy will travel in a climate-controlled vehicle with frequent comfort stops
We’ll coordinate timing and location directly with you

Flight Nanny Service (USA Only)
For families farther away, we offer professional flight nanny service. Your puppy travels safely in the cabin with an experienced handler—never in cargo.
What’s Included:
Door-to-door handling from our farm to your home
Climate-controlled cabin travel (in-cabin with the nanny, not cargo)
All required travel documentation and health certificate
Comfort breaks, feeding, and care throughout the journey
Regular updates and photos along the way
Meet-and-greet at your local airport

Ground Shipping (USDA-Licensed Transport)
We also partner with USDA-licensed and IPATA-accredited animal transport companies for safe, professional ground shipping.

Health & Travel Preparation
Before any puppy travels, we ensure they are:
Examined by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of travel
Issued a USDA-approved Interstate Health Certificate
Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
Microchipped and registered
Comfortable with their travel crate (acclimated in advance)
Your puppy will travel with:
A soft blanket carrying the scent of their mom and littermates
A small supply of their current food
Health records and travel documents
Instructions for the first few days at home

Important Information
Age Requirement: Puppies leave for their new homes between 8–10 weeks of age, depending on individual development and veterinary clearance.
Weather Policy: For the safety of your puppy, we may delay travel during extreme heat or cold. We’ll communicate openly and work with you to reschedule.
Delivery Area: We currently ship within the continental United States only. Please contact us for special arrangements or exceptions.
